More Naturally, Nana classes are right around the corner—Happy New Year to better nutrition! Classes are presented by TMCC and Washoe County’s Continuing Education department.

Classes listed with instructor name “Clark” are Natural Nana’s classes.
There is a material fee of $35 for each class, excepting the intro class, that covers ALL food costs payable directly to Linda Clark the night of class. “To Go Containers” will be available to take home what you can’t finish eating in class and are included in the materials fee.

Valentine Chocolates

You will put together two ½ dozen piece boxes of valentine candy—One for you and one to give away to your sweetheart or friend.
We will fill these beautiful boxes with Chocolate Truffles, Brownie bites (candy covered) and Ferrero Raw-cher ( I didn’t believe it either) wait until you taste these!!!! (I sell these for 25.00 a dozen, but you are going to learn to make them!)
This class is limited to 9 students, gotta watch you close!!! . . . and yes they will freeze and keep for Valentines day!!!

Crackers & Spreads

Zucchini crackers, onion crackers, and garlicy jicama toast crackers . . . and to spread on them after we add the bacon (you heard me) . . . raw deviled egg spread, and pimento cashew spread . . . fresh tomato and avocado and sprouts too!!
Hard to believe (no dairy, gluten, preservatives, or chemicals, and no meat (wait until you try the bacon!)
This is a good one for my dehydrator owners!

Considering that is just past St. Patricks Day, lets make one of them green, like . . . keylime pie?
Then we can dig our hands into some cookies and cookie bar recipes like . . . chunky chocolate chip, lemon coconut, and oatmeal raisin—plenty to bring home too!
And . . . we will drink chocolate milk with all of that . . . Good? Yeah, I thought so!

Everybody loves the soup class, so here is another opportunity.
We will put together at least 4 soups (maybe more), and then we will enjoy them with a salad and a surprise dessert. The soups are a surprise too, because I need time to pick them out. I don’t want to bring the same soups to my “Repeat Attenders”, so give me a sec and I will test and taste and come up with the best you ever had!!
Served with fresh veggies, and kelp noodles . . . Love em’ myself!

Guacamole and salsa, with chips for dippin, will accompany this one, and the fillings for the torts and burritos include, refried beans, fresh veggies, and sour cream (yeah right)
